Meet Your Dentist

Azita Anissi, DDS

General and Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Azita Anissi brings over 30 years of expertise in dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York at the Buffalo School of Dentistry. Following her general practice residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, she opened her own practice in 1992. Today, she continues to share her exceptional clinical skills and commitment to patient care. A Diplomate of the American Orthodontic Society, Dr. Anissi has extensive continuing education in orthodontics. Dr. Anissi held the position of president of the American Orthodontic Society's Board of Diplomates from 2019 to 2020. She is also a member of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Anissi has expanded education in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and sleep disorders. Combining her artistic eye with a strong foundation in science and mathematics, she is dedicated to continuing education and expanding her credentials to ensure the best possible treatments for her patients.

Dr. Anissi is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, 7th District Dental Society, and the American Dental Society. She also speaks five languages, enabling her to connect with a diverse patient base.

When she’s not busy working at the practice, Dr. Anissi enjoys an active lifestyle. She enjoys swimming, playing pickleball, tennis, and ping-pong. Dr. Anissi lives in Fairport with her family. She loves spending time with her three sons and going on adventures as a family.

Sarah joined Dr. Anissi’s team in 2023 and quickly became a favorite among patients. She loves building strong relationships with patients and helping them to understand their insurance benefits. An important part of Sarah’s role is explaining the insurance coverage necessary for each patient’s treatment plan. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time enjoying all the fun moments with her husband and three children.
